"Chichen Itza: Past and Present”: This tour will let you discover the Mayas´ historic legacy left and preserved through time in ancient Chichen Itza. The Castle, The Ball Court and The Astronomical Observatory will allow us to know more about the great mayan civilization. The “cleansing” ceremony performed by a local mayan shaman will let us ask for the well being of all the participants as the threshold of mythical year 2012 gets closer. After this ceremony we will head over to cenote Ik kil where the fresh cool water will welcome us just like they did the mayan priests of the old time. |

Arrival at the Archaeological Zone taking a guided walking tour for approx. 3 hrs. |

At this time the ruins are almost empty, allowing us a peaceful tour and photos with not to many people on it.

Visit to a Mayan Shaman. |

Here we will participate in a ceremony of prayers and “purification” in the Mayan language to ask their Gods for the participant’s welfare and good vibes for the year 2012. |

Here you can swim in the refreshing water as are our Mayan ancestors did. In this place we will also enjoy a delicious Lunch buffet. |
